Dell Recovery F Key

Dell Recovery f key: I’d look to see if there is a Dell Restore partition that may have a backup image on it. Check inside the BIOS to see if you can hit a F key to boot to a separate partition or hard drive and see if you can get a restore to work.

If not and there is a Dell media tool, try burning a bootable version to a USB thumb drive and trying it that way.

If that’s not working, and you can still get into Windows, look to see if you can create a system image backup using the included software.

There’s probably an option to do so under the Advanced settings. You can try restoring from that.

The Dell XPS 15 9560 laptop has a function key row above the main keyboard. Dell Recovery f key : It is labeled F1 through F12, or you can access them via the Fn + F1 through Fn + F12.

You can use these keys to launch or activate different functions of your Dell XPS 15 9560, or you can use them to control the backlight and sound of your Dell XPS 15 9560.

If it is the F1, F2, F3 or F4, that is not an issue. It is the f5, f6 and the f7, Finds, scrolls and multimedia buttons, that are pressed together with other keys because of constant usage, making it difficult to select the correct button.

But, we can fix it. If we press the f1 and the f7 key simultaneously, then the cursor turns into a magnifier. If we click on it, it will change the function of the f5, f6 and the f7 buttons. If we click on the scoll, then all the four buttons will act as scroll buttons. If we press the key + f5, all the f buttons will become multimedia keys. And if we press it while holding down F7, they will be find keys.

I have 3 Dell laptops with keyboards that use the F key. I have never heard of this problem before. I would go to Dell’s web sight and see if there is a way to fix it. If it is not a thing that can be fixed easily then I would go to another computer store and see if they have a keyboard with the F on it. I am sure they do. If this does not work, then I would replace the keyboard or I would replace the computer. You can not use the laptop the way it is because it will be to much of a hardship for you to use it.
